When the weather is dry, clouds of smoke rise from the reed areas everywhere. The bare-cut herds, the residual waste are burned to the ground, so that the fresh young cane can fully sprout.

Tribute to the cain cutter. Cane cutter is a profession during the winter season. Now a dying profession, a craft. Working through wind and weather but enjoying the natural beauty to the fullest. Invisible visible.
